The eMotoRacing series started in 2014 when TTXGP and FIM ERoadRacing failed to schedule any events in the United States.  Arthur Kowitz, who had raced in the FIM series, created the eMotoRacing series to fill the void and to promote sustainable energy.  The eMotoRacing series is alligned with the American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association(AHRMA), and has 10 races scheduled during AHRMA events.  As expected with any emerging series, there were only a couple of entries in the first races.  However, the last races have had more bikes and some exciting racing.

Motorcycle assembles from Zero Parts bin

Arthur's #179 Brammo was charged by the solar panels on this trailer.  Ryan Biffords #669 was assembled days before the race
from parts from a Zero Motorcycle parts bin.

Before the race, Eric Bostrom and Shelina Moreda get ready to ride their factory supported Brammos.  Six electric
bikes lined up for race 2

Race 2 was exciting from the green flag.  While Eric Bostrom checked out from the start, the battle for second was
fought all race long.  Arthur Kowitz had a slight run off in the early laps while Shelina Moreda and Ricky Orlando
battled back and forth for second.  Aruthur consistantly closed on the pair and was able to pass Shelina for second
place on the final lap.

In the video above, you will see Ricky and Shelina battling it out for the first half of the race.  You will also notice
that they are battling and passing gasoline powered bikes.  That is because there are three different classes of bikes
on the track at the same time.
