2014 Race Results - June 29, 2014

Greg Tracy set a new record for electric cars with a 9:08.188, breaking the old record(set last year by Nobihuro Tajima) by 38 seconds. He also finished second overall, finishing just 2.3 seconds behind overall winner Romain Dumasg in his gas powered vehicle. Greg was almost 9 seconds behind Romain after the first two sections, but as the gasoline engine struggled for compression in the increasing altitude Greg was able to pick up 3 seconds in each of the last two sections. Greg's section 3 and section 4 times were faster than any other competetor. He was followed closely by his team mate Hiroshi Masuoka who finished less than two seconds behind him.

Jeff Clark was the fastest electric motorcycle for the second year in a row. He broke the 12 minute barrier with a 11:59.814, which was about one second faster than last year.
